Comparatif de 3 patrons de culotte en dentelle

C’est la semaine des patrons de culotte en dentelle, et même 100% dentelle pour être précise. Plusieurs projets de culottes en dentelle se sont imposés à moi et j’ai fini par me dire qu’un comparatif serait sympa & utile pour moi comme pour vous.

Pantalon Netta en jean (Domum)

Le pantalon Netta m’a fait flasher avant même que la sortie du patron soit officiellement annoncée ! Autant dire que c’était vraiment le coup de foudre au premier regard.

Du coup, je l’ai forcément acheté dès sa sortie avec le petit plaisir ajouté de tester une nouvelle petite marque française et même rouennaise !

Ensemble banane et portefeuille facile à coudre

Avec cette banane et ce portefeuille facile à coudre, je réitère, je radote et je doublonne gentiment pour équiper ma Maman.

Pour la banane, j’en suis à ma 7e version de ce patron Bauch.Laden ! Quant au portefeuille, c’est mon 3e Compère de Sacôtin, et le quasi clone de mon portefeuille à moi.

Le projet nécessitait des valeurs sûres et la mission est remplie !

Le809 coat with incorporated gilet (DP Studio)

This Le809 coat with integrated waistcoat has been in the pipeline for at least 4 years. Before 2020 at any rate. It’s now 2023… I’m not very good at maths, but that must be it.

I have to say that I’m particularly happy to have finally given birth to this ‘red thread’ project. In other words, a project that progresses with the ebb and flow of ambient motivation and the seasons.

The worst thing is that the project wasn’t really dragged out by its difficulties, but more by the anticipation of the potential difficulty AND the number of stages to be completed… See the difference?

Having said that, go and get a cup of tea, coffee or whatever you like, because a long project means a long article. But as Churchill said: “Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to go on that counts“.

Couture : mon matériel de tailleur

Un peu de matériel de tailleur (et les fournitures associées) est, sinon indispensable, extrêmement utile pour coudre de beaux manteaux et vestes… mais pas que. La bonne ouvrière a les bons outils.

En tout cas, les bons outils facilitent considérablement la vie. Je le constate d’autant plus que j’ai cousu 3 bricoles sur ma vieille machine… et que j’ai pleuré après ma Janome S5 !

Jupe Crista rose à fleurs (We Feel Pretty)

La jupe Crista est sortie gratuitement l’année dernière et a eu un succès immédiat. Il faut dire qu’elle demande peu de tissu et qu’elle est facile à porter et confortable. 

Comme d’hab, il m’a fallu un peu de temps pour prendre le train en marche. Mais bon, j’ai fini par m’y mettre en fin d’année dernière : un projet rapide & égoïste au milieu de la couture des cadeaux.

Cutie Booty Brief: comfort 4x (Patterns for Pirates)

Yes, yes I know. The Cutie Booty Brief is not exactly the sexiest piece of the lingerie drawer… but damn! It’s so comfortable! It’s almost indecent.

It’s really the perfect panty for those days when you’re peeling your ass, those days when even a pair of panties that fit in your groove would be too much of a burden.

Quilted Duffle Bag (free-pattern • Sew4Home)

The Quilted Duffle Bag is a need I have often felt when going on holiday where my small carry-on suitcase was often too small.

But it’s either that or my mega backpack. Class in Dallas.

On the other hand, a big suitcase is not an option either. I have a policy of not taking a suitcase that I can’t lift. So, better 2 bags, or a bag and a suitcase, than one heavy suitcase.

Anyway. I had to sew the Quilted Duffle Bag to complete my suitcase. A necessary necessity I tell you.

Intergenerational Johnny Hoodie (Vikisews • free pattern)

This article about the Vikisews Johnny hoodie is a bit complicated for me to write. I originally sewed this sweater in November as a Christmas present for my father.

But he wasn’t with us at Christmas and finally he’s not with us at all.

Tibetan Panel Coat haute couture (Folkwear pattern)

I bought the Tibetan Panel Coat pattern in October, during a promotion at Folkwear. It’s an interesting pattern brand with some very unique designs. I’ve been following it for a long time, but it’s only in the last year or so that Folkwear has taken the PDF step more resolutely.

And as I already had a serious desire for a sleeveless jacket or waistcoat… well, planets aligned.

I AM Sunshine jeans: slouchy pants (I AM Patterns)

The purchase of the I AM Sunshine jeans, for once, was a direct result of the influence of a fashion influencer.

Usually, my slight spirit of contradiction takes directly in reverse any attempt to make me adopt a trend. Especially when it’s a cool girl who’s showing off and suggesting it to me.

But there you go. The confession is made. I’ve climbed on the slouchy trousers or balloon trend wagon.
