Josy Tee: indian summer in toucans

A fabric crush, an online shop offering the shipping and a pattern on which I had my eyes on going on promo at 2€… Sometimes it’s all it takes for a t-shirt to be born.

Technically, it seems that it’s a tank top and not a tee…but for me, it will always be a very short sleeved tee! It has a scooped neckline just as I like it and nicely fitted.

Quite disappointed with the hand-drawn pattern and the pattern pieces not quite fitting to each other… perhaps to assure a better form? I don’t know.

À part ça, les explication sont complètes, en français parfois moyennement traduit mais compréhensible mais avec plein de photos.

It’s a quick sew but I’m not totally satisfied with the underarm finition.

Concerning the fabric consumption: very economic!

On my meter per 160 cm, it left me with 1m x 1m. Meaning that I used only 60 cm x 1 m to make it in size S (versus 85 cm announced on the pattern but I used a different fabric).

Frankly, I made quite a deal! I think I’ll get some more done coming next summer. In plenty of color!
